Alkebu-Lan (Okebulani) is one of the ancient names of
Africa. Through the centuries, Alkebu-lan has had many names based
on the language and interpretations of those that
visited.
Alkebu-Lan is known as "Mother of Mankind" or
"Garden of Eden" as well as Ethiopia, Corphye, Ortegia, and Nigeria.
Alkebu-Lan (Okebulani) is believed to be one of the oldest name for our
motherland. It is of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors,
Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians.
Africa, the name given to our mother by the ancient Greeks and
Romans, has been adopted by almost everyone today.
